How does the price come about?
I know, the price of pedigree cats seems like a mean cheek. But have you ever thought about what a breeder has to invest in his breeding stock before a litter is even born? And I'm not talking about the time involved here, but really just the money. The work is comparable to a job as a part-time farmer, only without any financial support. That's why it's a hobby. A hobby that, with a lot of luck, will eventually pay for itself.
Kittens from matings that achieve the breeding goal cost from €1150 each for fanciers.
Kittens that reach the pawpeds outcross-criteria leave at 16 weeks neutered. Their price will be €1300 for fanciers.
If 2 animals are allowed to move into the same household, a small discount is granted.
Breeding price on request.
The kittens are only given away from the age of 12 weeks. Each kitten is vaccinated twice (cat flu/RC, cat desease /P ), dewormed, receives a pedigree and an identification chip for animaldata. If the animal is to be taken abroad, rabies vaccination is obligatory. This consists of 2 part vaccinations, whereby the 1st part vaccination must be administered at 3 months and the 2nd part vaccination 4 weeks after the first. This means that the animal can only start travelling from the age of 4 months. The cost of the rabies vaccination is borne by the buyer.
